Propolis

Propolis is a resinous substance, collected by bees in the buds of some plants, birches, oaks, and mainly poplars. The bees detach the resin fragments in the buds with their jaws and store them in the pollen containers in the hind legs; before depositing them, the worker bees enrich them with their salivary secretions rich in enzymes.
Propolis has a dark color and a strong flavor of resin, wax and honey.
It is a natural antibiotic, it has a very effective antimicrobial action thanks to its bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties, particularly indicated in case of colds, sore throats, laryngitis and pharyngitis, it also represents a very effective anesthetic and healing agent.
